　　3.Republican Senator John McCain has quietly slipped into Syria for a meeting with rebels. The visit took place admid meetings in Paris involving efforts to secure participation² of Syria's fractured opposition³ in an international peace conference.

 

　　4.And this crane toppled onto an apartment building in the Russian city of Kirov. It damaged balconies and cars below. There were no injuries.
