And I went through the surgery when I was 19. Miss Universe Canada which is owned by Donald Trump⁶, sends its winner to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. In a statement to the ABC news, the organization says Jenna falsified her application when she said she was born female. The Miss Universe pageant has rules which apply to all of its franchises⁷ around the world. The rules currently state that all contestants⁸ must be naturally born females. Jenna told CTV she was disappointed with the decision but will look to turn this situation into a positive so that other people in a similar situation are not discriminated⁹ against in the future.
