"I was too fast for them this time," he said, laughing. Dave reminded him to get off at Jamaica Station. They said goodbye. The train left the station. Max emailed Dave a few days later. "I made a big mistake," he wrote. "I didn't realize how fast the train was. Somehow I missed Jamaica Station. It was the first stop. I got off at the next stop. I had to take a taxi to get to JFK. It cost me $45, plus tip. But at least I didn't miss my flight."
