   Dialogue 1

Molly : Hey, how is it going?
  Gordon: Not bad.
Molly : I heard that you got into college. You must be very excited.
Gordon: It's no big deal. I am an American student going to college. It is much easier to go to college in the U.S. than in China.
Molly : You mean it's not the same as China?
Gordon: That's right. The pressure on American high school kids is less than the pressure on Chinese high school kids.
Molly : Do you still have to take a test?
Gordon: Yes, we must take an entrance exam, but it is much easier than the Chinese one. We usually only need to study for a few weeks.
Molly : Wow, that's completely different from China!
Gordon: Yep, getting into college is a breeze. The real problem is getting into a good college.
  Dialogue 2
  Molly: What's up?
Gordon: Same old, same old. How about you?
Molly: I'm A-Ok. I heard that you are applying to college. Is that right?
Gordon: That's right, but I still haven't got any admissions letters.
Molly: Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get in somewhere.
Gordon: I'm not worried about getting in, I'm worried about being able to pay.
Molly: That's right. College is very expensive in the U.S. Maybe, you should get a loan.
Gordon: I reckon1 that is a good idea. I will have to get a loan and pay it back after I graduate from college.
Molly: Wow, college is different in the U.S. Please tell me more about it.
