　　我们的尾巴

　　The lecture on evolution had been going on for nearly two hours. After drinking some water, then the lecturer started again, "Let me ask the evolutionist a question-if we had tails like a baboon¹, where are they?"

　　关于进化论的演讲已经进行了快两个小时了。演讲者喝了一些水，又开始讲了：“我向进化论者提个问题——如果我们过去像狒狒那样长着尾巴，那么现在尾巴哪里去了？”

　　"I'll venture an answer," said an old lady. "We have worn them off sitting here so long."

　　“我来回答看看。”一位老老太太说，“我们在这里坐这么久，把尾巴磨掉了吧。”
