2. President Barack Obama is calling on the congress to finish work on immigration overhaul² by the end of the year. The Senate has passed a measure that would provide an eventual³ path to citizenship⁴ for those are in the country illegally, and would tighten⁵ border security. But it is gone nowhere in the republican controlled House. 

3. There should have been months of testing before the government¡¯s healthcare website went online. That¡¯s the view of the contractors⁶ who are responsible for setting up the site, a key part of the new healthcare law. The house hearing today focused on the administration¡¯s determination to get the system up and running by October 1st.

4. And a herd⁷ of Australian dairy cows had been led to a beach in a name of art. They are part of a work created by surrealist artist centre Andrew Baines. The hand-selected cows were put in water up to their knees in what Baines called ¡°A Metaphoric⁸ Escape¡±.
