We're gonna launch today show with a missile launch, 4 of them. North Korea fired 3 missiles on Saturday, and another yesterday. These are short-range missiles. All of them were fired into the Sea of Japan, which is also known as the East Sea.
Last month, there was a lot tension between North and South Korea, and between North Korea and the US. North Korea threatened missile attack against those countries. A journalist in the region says these launches are different.
--It's short-range tactical weapon. If any other country launches this kind of weapons, it's a routine test. Nobody would be too worried. It's really simple, 'cause it's North Korea is doing this, but it raises concerns.
As we're close to the summer, temperatures are getting warmer that can lead to severe weather. Like this tornade that formed in Kansas Saturday. Experts say most major tornades come from supercells, thunderstorms that last for hours. The supercells can also cause strong winds of rain, hail and flush flooding. That's what parts of the middle western US are facing today. Last week, tornades hit northern Texas, several were killed in those and hundreds of homes were either damaged or destroyed. In the midst of recovery, one town's residents pulledt together to pull for a locoal baseball team.
