Hi, I'm Carl Azuz. This is CNN Student News, hope you had a good weekend.

We're gonna launch today show with a missile launch, 4 of them. North Korea fired 3 missiles on Saturday, and another yesterday. These are short-range missiles. All of them were fired into the Sea of Japan, which is also known as the East Sea.
Last month, there was a lot tension between North and South Korea, and between North Korea and the US. North Korea threatened missile attack against those countries. A journalist in the region says these launches are different.
--It's short-range tactical weapon. If any other country launches this kind of weapons, it's a routine test. Nobody would be too worried. It's really simple, 'cause it's North Korea is doing this, but it raises concerns.
As we're close to the summer, temperatures are getting warmer that can lead to severe weather. Like this tornade that formed in Kansas Saturday. Experts say most major tornades come from supercells, thunderstorms that last for hours. The supercells can also cause strong winds of rain, hail and flush flooding. That's what parts of the middle western US are facing today. Last week, tornades hit northern Texas, several were killed in those and hundreds of homes were either damaged or destroyed. In the midst of recovery, one town's residents pulledt together to pull for a locoal baseball team.
--After a moment of reflection for strom victims, the crack of the bat is soothing1.
Compared to the collapsed2 founder3 that came with Wednesday night destrutive storms.
--It's bad, it's a bad deal.
--Most of the people are in my neighborhood, today supporting us and helping4 us clean up, knowing the day, showed up here. It's just amazing.
Cleburne is focused on baseball. Glad to be out of the storm shelter and outside on a warm fare night. Many without power in their damaged homes, some live in hotels to  pack the bleachers for this playoff game.
--Our team pulls our town together, even when it's not adverse5.
--Just really, it's a nice thing to see.
All eyes are on the field, the players, and looking towrd the sky with excitement, instead of apprehension6.
