Our business editor Peter Ryan says his main priority now will be to recruit a new board.

Ah, Mr. Turnbull doesn't want to see external consultants³ brought in to provide...ah, a..a.... a solution to...to the NBN problem, but he wants.... he wants the board to own decent drives and... and as he said earlier , reduce its speed and deliver the facts.”

And Wall Street closed lower for the fourth day in a row with the Dow shedding 67 points.The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 were flat. In London overnight, the FTSE ended 14 points lower.

 

To commodity prices.

 

West Texas Crude is trading at 103 U.S. dollars a barrel. Tapis Crude's at 114 U.S. dollars a barrel. And gold is worth 1323 U.S. dollars an ounce. 

 

The Australian dollar is buying 94 U.S. cents, 70 Euro cents and 59 pence sterling⁴.
