The French newspaper Le Monde has published leaked information from fugitive6 intelligence analyst7 Edward Snowden, claiming the US secretly recorded millions of phone calls in France. The documents show more than 70 million calls were tapped between December and January. 
 
A bomb has ripped through a bus in southern Russia, killing at least five people and wounding 20. The bus in the city of Volgograd was packed with students at the time. Russian investigators8 believe a female suicide bomber9 was responsible for the attack. Identity documents belonging to the suspect were found near the scene.
