The girl, also known as “Bung”, vanished while on her way to school more than two years ago. The ABC can reveal the taskforce set up to investigate her disappearance2 will be shut down. An angry German Chancellor7 Angela Merkel has hit out at the US over claims her moblie phone had been tapped. Arriving at an EU summit, Mrs Merkel said it was not acceptable for friends to spy on each other. Fire crews do seem to be gaining the upper hand stilling burning at the Blue Mountains. They spent the night back-burning to strengthen containment9 lines. David Black was killed yesterday when his waterbombing plane crashed. Another pilot providing logistical support for firefighers also died when his plane went down in the Victoiran Alps.
