Looking around the country, showers and storms will contract from centre areas of Queensland to the east tropics. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Fine in New South Wales. Winds along the coast in the afternoon. Quite warm in Victoria today, possible showers in the west with isolated¹ showers developing in the southwest late tonight. Fine in Tasmania, apart from isolated morning drizzle² in the west and south. Scattered³ showers will develop in the west and Far South late this evening. Possible isolated showers about the southeast and southern coastal⁴ areas of South Australia. A warm day ahead of a cool southerly wind to chance near the coast in the morning and reaching the passport by evening. Areas of morning drizzle in southern WA with isolated showers and storms in norhtern and central parks. Isolated showers and gusty⁵ storms over the northern and western top end. Sunny and warm in the south.

 

Looking ahead to tomorrow is forecast for the capital cities. Sunny in Brisbane. A windy day for southeastern capitals with a late change in Sydney. Sunny in Canberra. And a few showers in Melbourne and Hobart. Fine in Adelaide with a chance of late storm in Perth and Darwin.
