The first snowstorm of 2014 is aiming for the northeast. Heavy snow and cold are expected overnight Thursday and Friday.

 

A helicopter is rescuing passengers from a research ship that's stuck in Antractica. It's alreay scooping¹ up the first group of passengers.

 

An investment adviser² who disappeared and was declared dead back in 2012 was caught during a traffic stop in south Georgia and arrested. Aubrey Price is accused of pocketing millions of dollars before vanishing and leaving a suicide note.

 

And researchers at MIT have found a way to allow people in one location to interact with objects in another location. The technology, called "inFORM," lets people move and manipulate things.
