The two companies that hold the licenses are now threatening legal action.

And the New South Wales government is also expected to unveil its plan today to tackle alcohol-fueled violence. State cabinet met yesterday to finalize⁹ the plan. The proposals encompass¹⁰ licensing¹¹ laws, policing and tougher penalties for offenders¹².
