In the U.S, rescue workers are searching for more than 100 people still missing after a massive landslide4 in Washington state. The mudslide has destroyed 30 homes in the town of Oso. Eight bodies have been recovered so far and several people have been critically injured. 
 
Former Labor5 MP Craig Thompson will be sentenced today. He's been found guilty of defrauding6 the Health Service Union of more than 24,000 dollars. He faces up to five years in jail. 
 
And the Australian journalist Peter Greste has one again been denied bail7 as he faces terrorism charges in Egypt. Mr. Greste and his two Al Jazeera colleagues have been in jail since December, accused of supporting the outlaw8 Muslim Brotherhood9. During his latest court hearing, police witnesses refuse to give any details of the actual evidence against the man.
