1. Top diplomats¹ from the United States, European Union, Russia and Ukraine have reached an agreement on an immediate² step to ease the crisis in the Ukraine. The deal comes one day after deadly crashes at a military base near the Black Sea. 

 

2. Poor weather conditions have hampered³ the frantic⁴ search for a passengers still missing from a ferry disaster in South Korea. Meantime the coast guard is investigating if the ferry’s captain was among the first ones off the sinking the ship.

 

3. Malaysia’s Defense⁵ Minister says images retrieved⁶ from the underwater vehicle searching for the MH370 were “very clear” but had so far returned no evidence of the missing flight.
