 Good morning everyone. Two opinion polls show voters have now turned against the Abbot government following budget welfare cuts and tax raises. The prime minister says approval rating has fallen dramatically. And opposition1 leader Bill Shorten has now had a surge in the support.

   
State of inside leaders are demanding a meeting with the prime minister as they continue their fight against the 80 billion dollars in budget cuts to schools and hospitals. Turkish police has arrested 25 people following the country’s worst ever mining disaster. Dan Clow, the general manger of the mine and they’ve been questioned in the town of Soma where Tuesday’s disaster happened. The final x x stands 301 after the last bodies were recovered on the weekend. 
   
The Cambodian government says a committee considering a refugee deal with Australia has now completed its work. The deal could see up to 1000 refugees send from Australia to one of the world’s poorest nations. Details of the negotiations3 are not yet known. A memorandum4 of understanding could be signed in just days ahead.
