Hello, Milles Hamilton with the top stories on ABC News.

Advocates for the disabled have protested outside the ABC in Melbourne today, demanding the Ramp1 Up online website be restored. Ramp Up was axed earlier this month after 3.5 years of operations. Advocates say it gave the disabled an important mainstream2 voice. About 20 men and women staged a brief protest, arguing that the site should be part of the ABC's core operations. Some protesters moved inside the ABC, but offered to leave when the police arrived.

The Australian defense3 force bishop4 has stood aside after he was charged with a child sex offense5 which allegedly occurred more than 40 years ago. Bishop Mike Steverse has been charged with three counts of indecently treatment of children under 14. He denies the allegations and has stood aside while being dealt with. The offenses6 are allegedly have occurred  when he was a teacher at St Benedict College in the west Australian town of Minocher before he was ordained7.

A court in South Africa has been told that Oscar Pistorius is in bid to stand a trial for murder. The paralympian has just returned to the dock(被告席) after a month-long assessment8 of his mental health.
