President Barack Obama bringing his plan to deal with the militant situation to the air raids. The President will deliver a prime time address tonight outlining a plan, which could include the use of air power in Iraq and Syria. He'll also ask Congress for the authority to arm moderate Syrian opposition² forces.

 

In Mississippi, a man is in police custody³ suspected of killing⁴ his five children and driving across state lines to dispose of their bodies. Timothy Ray Johns of South Carolina was arrested following a DY stop; he is now facing preliminary charges of child neglect. 

 

Powerful storms pounding northwest Missouri. The National Weather Service posted tornado⁵ warnings of four counties Tuesday night. The storms downed trees and power lines across the region. At least one tornado sighting was reported.
