Last week
mother, father and the children
had lunch at a restaurant.
Mother, father and Sue¹ had some soup.
Sandy didn’t want any.
Then father and Sandy had some steak².
Mother and Sue had chicken.
But the last course was the best.
They all had
strawberries, sugar, and cream.
“Yum! Yum!” Sandy said.
“Did you all have
a nice meal?”father asked.
“Yes, thank you, dad,”Sue answered.
“It was a lovely treat,” Sandy said.
