A trough standing¹ over the Northern Territory,South Australia and Victoria and southern New South Wales is generating widespread heavy showers and the xx thunderstorm.A separate trough over the far away is also triggering heavy showers and thunderstorms.The monsoon² trough is maintaining thundery showers over the tropic.

 

Looking around the country.In Queensland,monsoon and rain in the xx ,xx and stormy in the west.In New South Wales,very warm and humid with rain in the west and south,and the isolated³ showers in the northeast.

 

To Victoria,a humid with rain and storm redeveloping with possible flood ahead.

 

Tasmania can expect humid temperature with patchy rain mainly in the north.

 

For South Australia,heavy rain and storm in the north and the east with cooler temperature and showers in the south.

 

To the West,a windy and cooler in the south but warm in the west,heavy rain is expecting in the north east.

 

And widespread rain and storms are expected in the top end.

 

Looking ahead to tomorrow's forecast for the capitals.All wet start to Sunday in most capital cities.Showers in Brisbane,Sydney,Melbourne,Canberra,Adelaide and Darwin.overcast⁴ in Hobart,both sunny and warm in Perth.
