　　某人来访时，为了表示诚恳欢迎之意，请对方坐下，则使用本句。 但若我们去拜访他人，对方请我们坐下时，可别忘了要说声"Thank you "(谢谢你。)或"Thanks."(谢谢。)

　　A：Excuse me.My name is Dan Ford¹.I have an appointment with the dentist at 3:30.

　　甲：对不起。 我叫丹· 福特。 与牙医约在3:30见面。

　　B：Yes，Mr.Ford.The dentist will be ready to see you in a minute.Have a seat.

　　乙：好的，福特先生。 医生待会就准备好与你会面，请坐。
