　　Cereal is a basic food that provides plentiful¹ nutrients².Not as good for you are cereals cooked in oil.sprinkled with sugar and coated with frosting-which describes just about all of the cereals pitched at children.

　　麦片是一种提供人体充分营养的基本食物。但是它如果经过油炸，洒上糖和包上糖霜后，就不是什么好食物了。——而这些正是向孩子们大肆招徕的那些麦片食品。

　　Get back to basics.If you look hard enough,you'll find at least a handful of sugar-free or low-sugar cereals like oatmeal，bran flakes³ and shredded⁴ wheat. Beware,by the way, of“natural" cereals. A close look at their labels reveals high sugar and oil content，even higher, in fact，than many kids’brands.
