But US officials say Russia is giving more and more support to the Syrian government. That's why the Obama administration is increasingly concerned about Russia's activities there. By the day, Russian denials of involvement in this brutal³ conflict, appears to be eroded⁴. Kremlin then said that if it was not the Moscow helping⁵ Syrian government, this carnage would worsen, and humanitarian⁶ crisis intensified⁷. But US officials say Russia appeared to be dramatically increasing its military footprints in Syria. But US officials admit the real intentions of the Kremlin are as yet unclear to build an anti-IS coalition⁸ to support its Syrian allies, or simply to send a message to the west that Russia is back.
