In London, the FTSE finished 2.8 percent lower. Checking commodity prices, West Texas Crude is trading at 46 US dollars a barrel. Tapis Crude is 49 US dollars a barrel and gold is trading 1125 US dollars an ounce. The Australian dollar is currently buying 71 US cents, 64 Euro cents and 46 pence sterling⁵.
