credible3 threat to the US, something he said "we can all be thankful for."This Thanksgiving is expected to be the busiest holiday travel week since 2007. Nearly 47 million Americans are expected to take a car, plane, bus or train at least 50 miles from home over the long holiday weekend.
Investigators4 say an Afghan hospital that was boombed by a US warplane last month was mistaken for a Taliban compound. And an
investigation5 report unsealed Wednesday said the crew of the
bomber6 relied on a physical description of the building by Afghan forces. The October 3rd attack killed at least 31
civilians7 and injuried 28 others.
And just in time for Thanksgiving, president Obama has pardoned the national turkey. In the Rose Garden, a turkey named Abe was given his official
reprieve8. Abe will live out his days in leisure on a turkey farm. The next in line of succession, a turkey named Honest, was held in an undisclosed location for his own protection.
