Last time we talked about Sentences of Real Condition¹ and Sentences of Unreal Condition. We've got the following sentence patterns².1 If S did so, S would do something. 2 If S were somebody, S would do something. 3 If S were to do , S would do something. 【PS: S = 主语】

1 如果我把头发染成蓝色，大家都会笑话我。

If I dyed³ my hair blue, everyone would laugh at me.

2 如果我住在办公室附近，我就步行上班。

If I lived near my office. I would walk to work.

3 如果你晚上把单车放在外面，有人会偷的。

If you left your bike outside in the evening ,someone would steal it.

【今日主题】

This morning I would like to tell much more sentence patterns used⁴ to express something spoken of is impossible to be real. It's just a speaker's subjective⁵ wishes or conjectures⁶. It is "If S did, S might do." 表示对某人将来或是现在做某事的可能性很小甚至机会没有。

Jenny明知道John的这次试验是不会成功的，但是为了不打击John的积极性，还是鼓励John说到：If you tried again, you might be successful. 如果你再试一次，你可能会成功的。

Mary由于对电脑一窍不通，因此做起事来比同事们慢很多，于是自言自语到：If I know how to use computer inside and out, I might save a lot of time.如果我会电脑的话, 我可能会节约很多时间。

Please translate the following sentences, using the sentence patter: if + s+ did, s+might do.

1 如果可能,我或许会去美国进修美国文学。

2如果可能，我可能体验一次。
