Most of us enjoy the sight and presence of beautiful people, and are not apt to turn into a dragon and breathe fire over a pretty face or cute figure. We ought to ask, however, about the effect of sexually suggestive images in public venues³. And we should realize that some images are damaging. I do not cotton to anyone reducing me to a single aspect of my life. If I were a girl or woman looking at those ads, I wonder how I'd feel. That my figure is what makes me important in life? That I must look like a cover girl to be thought attractive or cool? Those notions make for a sizable pile of horse manure⁴.
