(单词翻译)

Mike: We've been waiting in line for half an hour already! I sure hope this chicken is worth it.

Amanda: It's supposed to be the best in town, but we'll see. I'm so hungry; I think anything I eat will taste like the best thing I've ever eaten!
Mike: Hey, did you see the nerve1 of that guy? He just cut in line! Someone ought to stop him!
Amanda: What are you going to do about it? Beat him up? There's really nothing we can do. Anyway, one more person ahead of us doesn't make much difference.
Mike: Well, he probably knows everyone's going to think that and won't do anything. But really, in the time it would take to do anything about it, we'd already be at the front of the line.
Amanda: Having to wait so long will make us appreciate the chicken more. Even from here, it smells divine2!
Mike: I'm starting to get impatient3 now. There is another chicken place just down the street, you know.
Amanda: But there's no line there. It must not be very good, right?
Mike: We ought to try it and see. Maybe we can start a new trend4. Then everyone would go line up there instead of here.
