Mike: That's a good idea! Let's play poker¹.

Amanda: I was thinking more of "Go fish" or rummy, something that doesn't involve betting.

Mike: We don't have to use real money. I have some poker chips we can use.

Amanda: All right, which game shall we play, five-card draw or seven-card stud?

Mike: I usually strike it lucky at five-card draw. Once I even got a straight flush!

Amanda: That almost never happens! You didn't have any cards up your sleeve, did you? I like seven-card stud because it involves a little more strategy and not just pure luck.

Mike: What can I say? I'm naturally lucky. But you can still use some strategy in five-card draw if you practice bluffing².

Amanda: I'm not going to say too much about my bluffing skills. That would sort of ruin the point. But we shouldn't just play with the two of us. Let's ask your sister to play and I'll ask mine also.

Mike: Three girls against me? You all are ganging up on me. I hope my luck holds out.
