1. President Obama in Hanoi has announced the U.S has ended a decades-long arms embargo¹ against Vietnam. The two nations also released a joint² statement, citing example how they are increasing cooperation. 

2. Iraqi government has announced they are launching a military offensive to retake the city of Fallujah from the Islamic State group. Officials say government forces have pushed militants³ at some farm areas outside the city, which is west of Baghdad. 

3. Authorities near Boston say the man suspected killing⁴ a police officer early Sunday morning was killed in a shootout with state police. The suspect is identified as 35-year old Jorge Zambrano. One trooper was hurt in the shootout. 

4. And the U.S navy aircrafts have joined the search for debris⁵ from EgyptAir flight 804. 66 people were aboard the passenger plane when it crashed in the Mediterranean⁶ sea last week.
