1.  The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a deadly suicide bombing on a peaceful protest in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Saturday, killing1 at least 81 people and wounding more than 200. The demonstration2 was organized by Afghanistan's ethnic3 Hazara community, a group of Shiite Muslims. 

2.  Residents in Munich, Germany paid tribute to the victims of Friday's shopping mall attack, laying flowers and lighting4 candles as they mourned their loss. The gunman killed nine people and wounded more than two dozens, before killing himself. 

3. Hillary Clinton formerly5 introduced senator Tim Kaine of Virginia as her pick for vice6 president, as the two appeared side by side in Florida. Clinton called Kaine a 'progressive who likes to get things done'. Kaine acknowledged this are tough times for many in the country, but said Americans are tough people. 

4. As democrats7 geared up for the democratic national convention in Philadelphia next week, protesters got a headstart, staking out outside the rules committee on Saturday. The convention officially begins on Monday.
