模仿文本：Now in 1989, Gunther Holtorf, a retired¹ airline executive² from Germany, set out with his wife on what he thought would be an 18-month driving tour around Africa. Yesterday, 26 years later, Gunther pulled up in front of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate at the end of a world-record-breaking trip. He's travelled 900,000 kilometres around the world, visiting 179 countries, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Burma, North Korea, (Tibet), the Vatican - you name it, Gunther's been there.
