模仿文本：First though a film set in London in the present day but also in a kind of limbo¹, as a group of teenagers from African and Middle Eastern countries wait in a hostel² to hear the outcome of their applications to live and work or study in Britain, the so-called leave-to-remain immigration status. They have to persuade the authorities both that they are escaping persecution³ and that they have established some kind of home in the UK with the help of a teacher who guides them through the British way of life.
