Abenomics, the name that's given to a massive economic project launched a year ago by Japan's recently reelected Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe. In simple terms, abenomics means reflation, Japan's new deal, if you like, pumping billions back into an economy that's been mired1 in deflation and anaemic growth for some 20 years or more. First, a brief history of the abenomic journey so far, explained in the colourful jargon2 of Japan's own Prime Minister as "the firing line of three mighty3 arrows".
