模仿文本： The sun is currently¹ at its maximum - that point in its 11-year cycle where solar activity should be at its height. Usually scientists will expect to be seeing large numbers of sunspots and solar flares². But this time around the sun is surprisingly quiet. Scientists say it's a mini-maximum and it could stay this way for a number of years.  

 

译文：  太阳现在应处于高峰年，即应处于太阳活动11周期中的最高值。通常这时候科学家们应该能看到大量的太阳黑子和太阳耀斑，但现在太阳活动却相对衰弱。科学家称这是太阳活动中的极小期，而且这一状态将持续几年。
