模仿文本： We begin though in Russia and a reminder¹ just weeks before the beginning of the Sochi Winter Olympics of the precarious² security situation in the south of the country. At least 16 people have been killed and dozens have been injured after a bomb exploded in the central railway station in the city of Volgograd. It happened just before 1 pm when the station was packed with travelers heading to their New Year's celebrations, the main holiday in the Russian calendar. 

 

译文：我们从俄罗斯开始。距索契冬奥会开幕还有几周时间，该事件使人们再次想起俄罗斯南部的不安全局势。一枚炸弹在伏尔加格勒市的中央火车站爆炸，至少有16人死亡，数十人受伤。此事发生在下午一点前，那时车站挤满了赶去庆祝新年的游客，新年是俄历的一个主要节日。
