模仿文本： America and Russia are engaged in serious negotiations¹ aimed at getting rid of President Assad's chemical weapons and preventing a US-led attack on his regime. The diplomatic pressure seems to have had an impact already. The UN has announced it's received Syria's application to join the international convention banning chemical weapons. 

 

译文： 美国和俄罗斯正就消除阿萨德总统的化学武器和防止美国带头打击叙利亚政权进行严肃的协商。看似外交压力已有了一定的成效。联合国表示已收到叙利亚愿意加入《禁止化学武器公约》缔约国的申请。
