模仿文本: Well, here's another idea to cut journey times and this one is straight out of science fiction. It's a bit like a cross between the London underground and a giant gun. It involves firing a tube-shaped carriage full of people along a tunnel at twice the speed of an aeroplane. Well, it'd run between the US cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco, slashing¹ journey times from the five hours it takes a driver today down to just 30 minutes.
