Italianpolice have confirmed they've raided the hotel rooms of Asafa Powell, Sherone Simpson and a physical trainer after the Jamaican sprinter¹'s tested positive for banned stimulants². Elsewhere the sportswear company Adidas has suspended its contract with Tyson Gay after the American sprinter failed an out-of-competition dope test. Powell has said he's not a cheat. He said he should have been more vigilant⁴ after testing positive for a stimulant³ commonly found in the dietary supplements and energy drinks.
