❤ 模仿文本:And yet, as far as art and music were concerned, within the castle wars at any rate, it was business as usual right up until the mid-1660s. In fact, the first half of the 17th century turned out to be something of golden age for music, particularly when Sigismund II decided1 to import Italian musicians into his royal household. Over a 30-year-period, some 23 of them arrived in all, one being composer Giovanni Anerio from Rome who was employed as the court choir2 master.
