模仿文本： Female scientists are a rare breed in Tanzania as they are in many countries all over the world. But many of them here are pioneers. And their research is helping¹ to solve their country's problems.I'm Penny Dale and over the next hour here on the BBC World Service, I explore the work of the sisters in science, their fascinations² and their inspirations, and the challenges they face in a country where half the people live below the poverty line and where government spending on science is miniscule.
