模仿文本：The couple finally departed towards the end of April. Sailing from Margel, their first stop was The Hague, where they were warmly welcomed by Frederick’s uncle Count Maurits Prince of Orange. Passing slowly through the Netherlands everywhere they were regaled with banquets, presents and entertainments. And as they floated up the Rhine and reached the decorated barge¹. Few would have missed the symbolism of the uniting of that river with the Thames.
