In 1989, Berry appeared in 13episodes of an ABC TV series. Her big break came two years later in the Spike¹ Lee movie ‘Jungle Fever’.Halle went onto regularly star in box-office hits, including the James Bond movie ‘Die Another Day’.In 2001, she became the first African-American woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘Monster’s Ball’.Berry has combined her acting² successes with her original career in fashion.She served for many years as the face of Revlon cosmetics³ and the fashion house Versace.In 2008, she signed a multi-million-dollar deal with the perfume company Coty Inc, who will market her debut⁴ fragrance⁵.Berry also has plans to be a movie producer.
