2.The 4 suspects in the brutalizing of a mentally disabled teenager in Chicago that was broadcast live on Facebook are on court today. A pretend fight between the young man and his schoolmates escalated⁵ to a brutal⁴ beating and racial touts⁶. The four face felony charges of kidnapping and battery, among others. 

3. Two American astronauts are outside the international space station for a day-long space walk. Commander Shane Kimbrough  and fight engineer Peggy Whitson are starting the test of upgrading the station's power station. 

4. And in Istanbul, the Greek orthodox Christian⁷ community celebrated the Epiphany with the traditional blessing⁸. Gathering⁹ on the shore of Istanbul Golden Horn, believers jumped into the icy water to retrieve¹⁰ a blessed cross.
