EMILY: Ashley, this looksfantastic. Very festive¹.

ASH:  Thanks, although, I have toadmit, it is slightly humiliating, having to plan a party celebrating thedefeat of England. I don't do well with rejection².

EMILY: Obviously. That was over200 years ago. Is Daniel in the back?

ASH:   No. He and Tyler wentto grab some lunch. Hey, I don't know if you have plans tonight,but Tyler thought it might be fun if we all went on a double date. Isn't that sweet?

EMILY: Yeah, so sweet. Um...  But, you know,things are very new with Daniel,  and we're still kinda getting to knoweach other. That's kind of hard to do with Tyler around.

ASH:  Oh, my god. You hate him.

EMILY: No, I don't hate him. I just...I don't--Idon't know him very well.

ASH:   Well, why not get toknow him?

EMILY: This is really important to you, isn't it?

ASH:   Yes, it is. Iwouldn't be asking if it wasn't. I really like him, Emily, and he is Daniel'sbest friend. Give him a chance.

EMILY: You're right. Count us in.

ASH:  Super.
