1. U.S Attorney general Jeff Sessions has accused him from any investigation¹ for Russian interference in last year's presidential election. This follows revelations that he met with Russia's U.S ambassador, and didn't say so in his confirmation² hearing. 

2. The Indianapolis Star reports vice³ president Mike Pence used his personal email account to conduct public business , when he was governor of Indiana. Some of those emails exchanged with advisers⁴ discuss only in the security matters. 

3. Thursday saw new adds to president Trump's cabinet. Former Texas governor Rick Perry was sworn in as energy secretary, and Ben Carson was the new Housing and Urban development. 

4. And strong winds with the gusts⁵ topping 50-miles an hour lashed⁶ much of New England, bringing down trees and knocking down power for thousands of homes and businesses.
