President Donald Trump1 says that thanks to him, US infrastructure2 will once again be the envy of the world. Trump has been promoting plans to bolster3 the country's roads, bridges and waterways in what his aides have dubbed4 "infrastructure week". But former FBI Director James Comey's testimony5 about his interactions with Trump and Russian interference in the US election has dominated the news.

Britain's Prime Minister Teresa May will leave her most senior cabinet team in place after her general election gamble backfired disastrously6. May plans to work with Northern Island's Democratic Unionist Party to muster7 a voting majority.

One person is hospitalized following a hot-air balloon crash in Chatsworth, Illinois, according to ambulence services. Two balloons went down near Chatsworth Grade School.

Authorities say a Florida man is facing criminal mischief8 charges after he got out of his car after a crash, stripped off his clothes and damaged a door of the responding deputy's patrol car.
