　　I hope so. I'm not actually a customer here, but I saw an advertisement in yesterday's newspaper about your new bank card. 希望如此。我实际上不是这里的客户，但我在昨天的报纸看到了你们的新银行卡的广告。

　　I see. Yes, that advertisement has proven very effective.  我明白了。是的，那个广告已经证明了它确实有效。

　　Would you like to apply for a card with us? 您想申请我们的银行卡吗？

　　Yes, please. But I suppose I'll have to open an account¹ with you first, right? 是的。但是，我想我得要在你们这里先开一个账户，对不对？

　　That's right. But don't worry; it's a very simple procedure². 没错。但您不用担心，手续非常简单。

　　Could I open an account with you today? 我今天能在这里开一个账户吗？

　　Yes, please. That's being processed now. 是的。现在正在处理中。

　　As soon as the account is set up, we can issue³ you with a card. 一旦账户开好了，我们就可以给您发卡了。
