Susan Rice, President Obama's National Security Advisor⁵, said Monday at George Washington University that the relationship between China and the United States is the most consequential⁶ in the world today, because many global challenges can only be met with China and the United States working in concert. She also reiterated⁷ that a stable, productive, and resilient Sino-US relationship would remain at the center of American foreign policy for years to come.
