 One day John went to the pond1 to fish. His dog, Watch, went with him. 一天，约翰到池塘去钓鱼。他的狗沃奇也跟着一起去。

John sat on a log2 for a time, but did not catch a fish. 约翰坐在圆木上待了一会儿，但他没有钓到鱼。
As he got up to go, he fell off the log. 就在他起身要走时，他摔下了圆木。
Watch sprang in to save him.  沃奇跳进池塘去救约翰。
